About ISoP - <span>Advisory Board 2016 - 2019 - Biographies</span>
Jean-Christophe Delumeau graduated in medicine (MD), molecular pharmacology (PhD), toxicology and psychiatry in France. After completing residency, he joined a research program on intracellular signaling at the National Institute of Medical Research (Inserm). In 1991, he re-oriented to clinical research in neurology in France, Switzerland and Japan. In 2002 he was appointed by Bayer to lead pharmacovigilance organisations in Japan (until 2009) then in Asia-Pacific based in Beijing then Singapore.
He is a founding member and coordinator of ISoP’s Special Interest Group on Risk Minimisation Methods for Asian Countries. His focus is to create and facilitate the deployment of novel risk minimization methods applicable to a wide array of countries and health care systems, especially in developing countries.
