3rd ISoP Seminar –
Intelligent Automation in Pharmacovigilance

The hype is over and day-to-day use of automation is now a reality for most. Although implementation speed and success vary significantly from company to company, excitement is growing across the board, and early successes are very encouraging.

This scientific seminar brought together leading regulators, leaders in drug safety and experts from major technology and service providers to exchange views and ideas, and get ready for the near- and mid-term future of pharmacovigilance. Commercial bias was kept to minimum, and as always, open and transparent discussion was encouraged, as with all global ISoP seminars.

The first day focussed on exploration of technological and regulatory advances, whereas the second day explored the impact of these changes on our organisations and the pharmacovigilance system overall.

We were pleased to announce that during the afternoon of the second day, there was a joint programme with the Annual Meeting of North America’s Chapter of ISoP (NASoP), allowing leaders in PV to conveniently attend the Annual Meeting as well as the Seminar.

The faculty consisted of international experts in pharmacovigilance, representing Regulators, International organisations, Industry, Technology providers and Service providers.
The auditorium was limited to 60 participants, to encourage interaction, networking, and exchange of invaluable insights.
