Background
The pharmaceutical industry forms a significant partner in the global pharmacovigilance system and is at the forefront of addressing some of the most complex and critical challenges in healthcare. Beyond operational hurdles, the industry faces the ongoing responsibility of meeting rigorous regulatory requirements, maintaining data integrity, and navigating the diverse expectations of global health authorities. In this complex and dynamic environment, companies need to cultivate a mindset that acknowledges the significance of human factors and the complexities of system interactions.
Although there are industry groups that discuss pharmacovigilance, individuals in those groups represent their companies and so may be constrained about what they can discuss and how they can express their views. Currently, industry professionals who are interested in pharmacovigilance lack an all-inclusive international forum or group that gathers professionals at all levels together and offers them an opportunity to be express their own personal views, think imaginatively and creatively as well as share knowledge and experience.
The ISoP Industry Community bridges this gap—bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds to:
