Chapter Objectives
Our objectives for the ISoP Swiss/Austria Chapter are as follows:

- To bring pharmacovigilance professionals and other key stakeholders together to better understand, promote, and raise awareness of pharmacovigilance among healthcare workers, patients, and other key stakeholders
- To provide opportunities to advocate pharmacovigilance and research across various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, biosimilars, medical devices, cosmetics, food, etc
- To stay informed about Swiss and Austrian current scientific debates and studies on patient safety
- To offer a fair and impartial venue where all parties, including patients and the industry, can ask for concerns and receive responses in a timely manner
- To assist regulatory agencies with pharmacovigilance policy guidance
- To plan and/or sponsor seminars, forums, and training in Swiss/Austrian pharmacovigilance
- To use social media and/or other communication channels to share current activities, create a venue for discussion, and inspire new research and idea
- To publish several pharmacovigilance-related topics in Switzerland and Austria in the Drug Safety Journal
