WHO Patient Safety Day

World Patient Safety Day to be marked annually on 17 September.
This is a campaign for all stakeholders in the health care system to work together to improve patient safety. Loughborough University HFE Hub in collaboration with Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) will be holding a free networking event on Tuesday 17 September in Lecture Room 101, Schofield Building at Loughborough University. The day will include presentations about HSIB investigations and NHS Improvement ‘patient safety alerts’ to prevent incidents leading to harm.  Healthcare staff, decision-makers, commissioners, managers and politicians are all invited.
