The Inter-country Pharmacovigilance Course (CIP), organised by the Rabat Collaborating Center, is celebrating its 20th anniversary edition in 2026. Over the past two decades, the programme has trained more than 1,000 professionals from over 30 countries, contributing to the development and strengthening of pharmacovigilance systems worldwide.
The course is delivered entirely online and is designed for healthcare professionals, regulators, and pharmacovigilance specialists who wish to strengthen their expertise in medicine safety and patient protection. The training combines self-paced learning with interactive webinars, allowing participants to exchange directly with international experts and develop practical skills in pharmacovigilance.
The programme is structured into three modules, each lasting two weeks:
- Understanding the organisation and principles of pharmacovigilance
- Managing adverse drug reaction cases within a pharmacovigilance centre
- Developing the competencies required to operate and manage a pharmacovigilance system
Participants who complete the course receive a certificate and may also be eligible to sit for a University Diploma in Pharmacovigilance through a partnership with Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences in Casablanca.
Two editions are planned for 2026:
- French edition: 6 April – 17 June 2026
- English edition: September – November 2026
ISoP members benefit from a €300 discount on the course fee.
This milestone edition represents an important opportunity for pharmacovigilance professionals worldwide to enhance their knowledge, exchange experiences, and strengthen systems that support medicine safety and patient protection globally.
