The International Society of Pharmacovigilance (ISoP) would like to invite you to participate in the ISoP Mid-Year Symposium, which will take place on 9-10 June 2026, in Hatfield, United Kingdom.
This year’s programme explores collaboration as both a strategic necessity and a practical enabler of modern pharmacovigilance. The meeting is structured across two complementary streams.
Day 1, Collaborative and Strategic Pharmacovigilance, focuses on governance, partnerships, and capacity building, examining how alignment across stakeholders strengthens safety systems and supports collective learning.
Day 2, Data-Driven and Operational Innovation in Pharmacovigilance, considers how shared infrastructures, interoperable data, and collaborative analytical approaches can move the field from siloed activity to coordinated safety insight generation.
Across both days, sessions emphasise shared responsibility, common standards, and learning health approaches that help pharmacovigilance remain responsive, scalable, and trusted in a rapidly changing information environment.
Abstracts are invited that reflect these themes and contribute to the collaborative advancement of pharmacovigilance science and practice. Submissions may include methodological research, applied studies, operational experience, or strategic perspectives.
We look forward to welcoming pharmacovigilance specialists, pharmacoepidemiologists, and drug safety scientists to an engaging meeting focused on connection, exchange, and shared progress.
We want to offer researchers the opportunity to present their research in the form of oral presentations (flash presentations, 10 minutes) and poster presentations.
Presenters of accepted abstracts (Oral and Posters) are required to register for the conference and must pay the appropriate registration fee.
Accepted abstracts by presenters, who have paid their registration fee, will be published online in Frontiers in Drug Safety and Regulation. Abstracts must be submitted in English only.
All accepted posters are eligible for the poster prize, which will be awarded to the best poster (Poster Prize from Drug Safety Research Unit with one complimentary registration to one of their courses).
